Cancer is not a Disease - It's a Survival Mechanism (Book Excerpt)
I think there is a lot of truth in this article...and it reminds me how important it is to 'transform' my mind and my thinking daily. How many thoughts and assumptions do we hold on to that have no real basis in truth that hold back our healing??? How many times do we let the words of others control our destiny??? Why do we only pay attention to our physical symptoms instead of addressing the root cause...including those that are mental, emotional, and spiritual in nature??? Why do we believe our body is working against us...instead of for us???
"...cancer can have no power or control over us, unless we unconsciously allow it to grow in response to the beliefs, perceptions, attitudes, thoughts, feelings we have, and the life choices we make."
Great post NaturalRN!
Cancer patients typically suffer from lack of self-respect or worthiness, and often have what I call an "unfinished business" in their life. Cancer can actually be a way of revealing the source of such inner conflict. Furthermore, cancer can help them come to terms with such a conflict, and even heal it altogether. The way to take out weeds is to pull them out along with their roots. This is how we must treat cancer; otherwise, it may recur eventually.
That paragraph made me think of Dr. Christopher in one of his NHS videos where he told the story about him getting sick as an adult and when he really got right down to it, he thought it was because of some unresolved anger from when he was a small child. Aren't we wonderfully made? Yes we are! We just have to know how to treat our bodies.
This article had a lot of truth in it.
