Yes to the first condition.
I used to have a stiff back, especially in the mornings. It was due to a congested liver and kidneys. The stiffness in the upper back, and swollen/compacted feeling in the abdomen and under the right side of the ribcage, disappeared gradually over the course of about 20 initial liver flushes. Back pain and stiffness in the lower back area, from the bottom of the ribs to the top of the pelvis, disappeared after several kidney cleanses. In both cases, I removed stones first and then did tissue cleanses for both organs.
I continue to cleanse both organs at both levels on an ongoing basis, especially if stiffness appears.
As for the disc problem, the source of the problem is likely not directly related to liver or kidney problems, but any cleansing of the organs can result in improved growth in other tissues throughout the body, including discs, muscles and nerve tissues.
In my opinion, disc problems themselves need an alternative course of treatment. You could look into chiropractic, nutrition, supplementation, yoga, meditation and acupuncture just to start.
All body systems are interactive, so healing in one area benefits all other areas.
