My guess is you're here on a mission.
This obviously isnt one of your favorite forums.

I think that is a really good idea.
I have been helped by the forum, and I know that a lot of people read cure zone and do not post. (Not that I blame them, btw) I know that a lot of people in this area are worried about the effects of whatever is going on in the gulf- this is a huge area, Tampa, New Orleans, Huston, maybe it's better to leave the debate elsewhere.
I've got my own ideas of why this has happened, it's taken me a while, but I do think there is a conspiracy, and I also think that anyone who speaks in public gets slammed and discredited.
I am happy to debate on a debate forum, but on a health support forum, it's hard to discuss your health issues when things have gotten so heated. I know I've gotten down right mad at a couple of posts, and I've had to count backwards from 500 a few times.
I have seen forums split because of this type of poster, and unfortunately, a lot of energy goes out of the forum.
I kind of trust Durshan to decide what to do, either to ban the poster who seems to be starting most of the contraversy, or to split the forum.
We are all kind of learning here, and I don't think that the poster in question is any type of cure zone vet, and has health problems of his own.
I am kind of old enough to remember that corporal punishment has it's place, when I was in jr. high school someone when you got out of line you got spanked with a ping pong paddle with holes in the middle right next to the radiator which had tunnels all over the school, so the whole school could hear the yelps. I'm sorry he can't just administer an internet equivalent.
Something does need to change, that is for sure.

To be really honest, I have to
say, I feel bad that I did not
champion a debate forum earlier
than today. My intuition did
prod me to, but as is sometimes
the case, I did not follow the
advice of my inner guidance.

The number guy has as much a right
to spout off his beliefs and we
are mostly upset that we were not
in the mind to debate the topic and
he was/is. A really good example is
that the Webmaster made a chemtrail
debate forum FIRST. Well, someone,
anyone, day or night, was always
willing to simply say, "chemtrails
do not exist". They were not there
to be convinced, merely to divert
and distract from the supportive
threads. Perhaps it fed something
in them that they liked to anonymously
impact conversations no matter how
constructive. Anyway, it happened
faster there that we asked for a
Support Forum and then all the
controversy was left behind as most
of the crowd moved to the Support
Forum or in this case, the debate
will be relegated to the debate forum.

So, while we may complain and feel
frustration that it had to come
to this level of confrontation,
the truth is that we did enable
this kind of discussion for as long
as we were willing to. Now, however,
it does feel like more than time for
there to be a shift and hopefully
the Webmaster will help us put up
the fence.
