Seriously, I hate to see you let a small handful among all the thousands of members get under your skin to the point of making you decide to leave.  I would much rather see you stay.   You and I may not always agree, but such is often true of friends.  You have such a good heart, Spud and I hate to lose you here regardless of whether our opinions always mesh or not.

If you should reconsider, consider this:  I have had periods in the past where one or more people have tried to hound and harass me ceaselessly.  Besides disputing most things I had to say, there was name-calling and slurs to no end and such petty nonsense as casting negative votes on anything I posted (as has happened with your posts I see).  I probably could have handled it better, but I refused to let some malcontents run me away from a site whose purpose I believe in very strongly.

What I have taken away from my own experience is that it is best to state your case in one or two posts, not feel that you have to defend yourself or respond when others disagree or disparage you, and try to remain as civil as possible, keeping above the fray. Besides dedicated distractors who may hound you, there will always be those who disagree with you and those who you will disagree with.  The key is trying to do so civilly no matter what the other party may do and not letting the dispute drag on and on, which is what may lead to less than civil responses as well as create dedicated distractors..

You just need a break. Take some time off but you have to come back. Or maybe you just need a break from the forum where the antagonists are. We need you here. You're here for a reason. 

It reminds me of what's happening to me at work.  I let some guys get to me, and it wasn't the 3 gangster patients who hounded me for four days, it's the 2 male staff who didn't back me up. I want so badly to leave right now but there's no where better to go, so I'll take a few days off and things will change.

As I said, it's all about me. This is my dream and you're a big part of it here. You can't leave because when I tell people about curezone I say there's really smart people there, and some really nutty people, but the smart people outweigh the nuts. You're the smart scientific person I tell people about. We can't let the nuts take over cz.

And, I love your spiritual beliefs and energy healing knowledge. I wish you'd share more of it because it's needed right now. We waste a lot of money and time on other things.

I'm believing you're here to stay, for the duration. It's like anything else, when you've had enough, you need to get away for awhile. You feel like it's all over and that's all you can take, but I'm pretty sure there's no where else to go, so we're stuck here. 

I love you Spud. I'm so happy you're here to tell me what's going on. I'll talk to you when you're rested and ready to rumble again. You've got to admit it's fun!

 I am sorry to see you go Spud, you have been a great rational supporter.  But I can understand where you are at.  I have been through the same crap here on CZ and have thought about leaving a number of times.  And complaining to the moderators gets you nowhere because they are often a big part of the problem.  CZ is way too cliquish and political.  People can harass people all day long and the moderators ignore them because they are buddies with the harassors. Yet get fed up with the harassment and fight back and you are the one that gets banned instead of the harrassor.  Or post information with proof of the claim and the moderator disagrees with the information you get banned.  CZ does not appear to be about helping or healing but rather post whatever and it is ok as long as the moderator is your buddy.  I have complained about this so many times and even gave examples yet it never changes.  It makes CZ seem unrealiable and cheap because they only seem to care about the advertising dollars, not health and safety.
