Hi there,

I read some folks are able to measure muscle loss during the fast. Any idea how that works?

Since we know that in the first few days everyone loses about 1.5 pound of muscle, shouldn't repetitive fasts be considered as very unhealthy?

  I know there are scales that measure body composition that may not always be accurate.If you know your accurate body fat weight i think total weight-fat weight= lean body mass.Maybe someone else will chime in.
  
  Personally i think doing repetitive short fasts 2-3 days consecutive can be harmful.I did this and felt MUCH weaker..going upstairs.etc even my lower back hurt. I definitely felt and saw the muscle loss.
