I don't know if I've mentioned this before on this forum but I think it is important. I read the statistics a few years ago about women going without bras and having less breast cancer. We need to go without a bra at least 12 hours a day. I think you can find the information by googling "dressed to kill". Anyway, that was at least eight years ago that I started going without a bra as much as possible. I remember being told by a doctor long before that that he thought he felt a lump and for me to watch out for it. I could feel a little something BUT my breasts were so fibrous that I really couldn't tell. Well, after going for years with only wearing a bra when I go somewhere, my breasts don't feel fibrous at all. I'm quite sure that it is much healthier for your breasts to be soft. I have no doubt that if and when I ever get cancer it WON'T be in my breast.

oh my ! and I wear one pretty much 24/7 cause I dont want my boobs to sag prematurely ... and for the support
guess I will consider not doing that so much now although I have yet to have a problem with it

This is a reply to # 1,673,764>>>but I think it is important<<< It IS important!!! It's not natural to wear bras, and it's CERTAINLY unhealthy AND unnatural to wear bras with wires that draw all kinds of 'electro pollution' into our precious breasts.
Of course, there's far more reasons for Breast Cancer & fibroids than just 'bad bras', but 'eliminating the cause' is definitely the first step...and bras (especially those with wires and made of toxic materials) need to be the first to go.
Yeah, yeah, we don't need to be starting riots or anything...by going 'without' where it's a social impropriety. But a cropped, tight fitting tank-top will suffice for modesty AND "support" (for those of us that are large enough to actually 'need' support).
Set 'em FREE!!!

Well girls, I'm with ya, I almost never wear one when I'm in the house, it's just too much constriction for me anyway. But does it affect sagging and such? I posted about wanting to know what would help the skin and all, and I do have some of that from losing and gaining weight so many times. At my age, it's really hard to adjust to that, you know? Just wondering if years of not having that 'support' contributes to that, or if there are other factors...

This is a reply to # 1,673,959lol, my boobs are so small, I never wear a bra in the winter cause I wear sweatshirts. In the summer I only wear a bra when I go out with my husband cause he gets embarrassed. Whatever. I'm granola and that's ok.

Whether or not you wear a bra sooner or later, with age comes the girls heading south lololol!
Sad but very true, so give the girls their freedom as much as possible and don't worry about it cause it's gonna happen anyway!

This is a reply to # 1,674,154I want to add a few more things to my original testimony: Yes, I agree with Willow that they will sag after enough years anyway. The only way to stop them from heading toward your feet is to stand on your head. Mine probably sag more since going so long without a bra, but they are still with me and I think that is the most important thing. I wouldn't run or bounce without holding onto them. It also mentions how a bra cuts into your flesh. I remember how my mother's shoulders had a half inch sunk in place from her strap, but hers were a D cup. I don't have to worry about that.
A rebounder also helps lymphatics. I have one and need to get back to using it. It is like a small trampoline only smaller and very safe if you get a good one. They recommend not having a bra on when using it. haha I'm not gonna do that.
I also want to explain something I said about feeling safe as far as not getting breast cancer. The main thing that I know for sure is that if your breasts are soft, you will be able to feel a lump if it does show up.

I'm a triple D, I don't have that indent yet but I bet I would have had it if I hadn't taken by bra off the minute I walked in the house everyday. I got used to being home all day for over a year and now I'm back to work and I absolutely hate to put that bra on each morning.
I've done research on rebounders, I've been meaning to get one for a couple of years now. I'm looking at the Needak, that seems to be about the best one I can find. I can't see myself jumping on it without a bra though!
I was really surprised to read in that article that women actually wear a bra 24 hours? I would never have thought about doing that. I wonder why they do it and how they can stand it.

just to say Willowly I have one of them there rebounders .. I got mine at kmart I think a few years back for about 30 bucks .. I just have a balance issue somtimes and its hard for me not to fall off ..LOL
as for the bra thing .. all my bras except for one have the wire in it and its a sports bra..I know ..I know its bad but I am so used to it that I just dont notice it anymore :(
I will be honest I just dont like em sagging at all and I guess wearing a bra brings em up where they belong and doesnt make me feel so self conscious about em ..shoot I dunno .. its just a false sense of security I think ..we know where our boobs are gonna land when that thing comes off but we/I just dont want everyone else to know it!
aint no way I am going braless with company around ~~~~~~~ nuh uh ,nope, not me .. now if I was at a nude beach or something I guess I would have to consider it ...all I can say is thank goodness we dont have such around here !

Hey, me neither girl!
You won't ever catch me in front of anyone except for my husband and on rare occasion my son since he doesn't live with us anymore.
There is absolutely NO way NO how I'd go outta this house without my bra on and if people were coming over I'd put her on for that too lol!
I bought a rebounder at Wal-Mart for 30 bucks but as soon as I got it home and out of the box I boxed it right back up and back to the store it went. It didn't have springs around it, it only had pieces of webbing so I knew it wouldn't last very long. I AM going to get a good one that will last for the rest of my life because I think we all need to do something for our lymphatic system. It's great that the one you bought is good, hope you'll get your balance some day and be able to use it. ;)

thats odd .. a rebounder without springs??? never seen one of them ..wow
the one I bought at kmart does have springs around it and I am like you on that one I wouldnt have it any other way
right now I use my Wii to exercise on but not regularly though ....I am so trying to discipline myself to get into a routine because the Wii is just so perfect for that and with the balance board its even better ..its so fun too
you can do yoga moves ,all kinds of balance games and get this ! my Wii fit age according to the test is about 8 yrs younger than what I really am ! and thats based on balance and coordination tests
its just the rebounder is so small and when I start jumping on it its kinda hard for me to stay in the middle so I am not sure its balance or the fact that its so small and I am so big LOL...

I am pretty sure my rebounder is the Needak. I couldn't find the papers but I know that I researched it a lot and bought the best one. It cost about $250 I think and it has the bar. I love it and will let you know for sure if that is the brand. I wouldn't do without the bar for making sure you don't lose your balance. I will ask Hubby tomorrow. He still has his memory. I wouldn't go without a bra on the rebounder either especially with those triple D's of yours. You would eventually end up with a black eye.

You need to give your body a chance to get the lymphatics flowing. I would ditch the wired bras ASAP.
After reading the importance of going without a bra several years ago, I started looking for things I could use to help me to not be so bound up. I fell in love with the blouses with the little thin strap and with the bra built in. It isn't near as binding as a regular bra. I found a good brand, A.N.A. and bought six or seven. I wear them with a short sleeved blouse over them and open. I looked for more of them this summer and all they had was just plain w/o the built in bra.
I also always have a bra on when company comes. If I don't my son will say, "Get a bra on!". My daughter will say, "Get those things in a harness."
As for the nude beach, I never thought I could go to one, but I'm beginning to see the reasons why anyone would want to. My husband also feels like that, but neither of us could actually go to one. We love lying out nude on our deck though where we know nobody can see us.

I am just not comfortable enough with my body to lay out nude even if it was my backyard ..lol way too many planes and heli's passing by me at any givin time haha
