If you want to follow the omega 3 advice then it is best to get it from fish oils. It is also available from vegetable sources but these also contain omega 6. Research would indicate that omega 6 is difficult for the body to break down and in doing so it inhibits the absorption of omega 3. Some reports indicate that only only a few percent of omega 3 from flax oil is metabolised. Too much of this oil and you will get loose stools.
