Hi,
I don't know if this has ever happened to anyone else, but whenever I take chlorella I bleed a bit half way through my cycle. If I don't take chlorella I have normal periods and don't bleed mid-cycle.
I have tried chlorella 3 times and each time this happened and then I got scared and stopped taking it as it is obviously affecting my hormones. But is it a bad thing or is it part of a healing reaction?
I also find I get a lot of mucuc in my esophagus and my stomach gets quite acidic.

The same thing is happening to me right now, and I was kinda freaking out,as I have never bled mid cycle like this before. I took 4 chlorella's a little over 3 weeks ago and a few hours afterwards started to feel unwell and queasy. The next day I started having pain in the bladder area, which now is quite a bit better but still is bothering me, 3 weeks later. Exactly 2 weeks into my cycle I started to spot lightly,on and off for 7 days, and then a little more afterwards. I was glad to find your post, I know now that I am not alone, and I am not suffering from anything worse. I will be glad when my cycle returns to normal :-)
