boprn
Hi,
This is my first time visiting this forum. I'm a 48 yo male who recently went to the urologist for a weak strem. The doc figures I have BPH, and put me on uroxatrol. I went back for a flow test, and it was 5cc constant with 8 peak - the same as when I first went to him. The incident got me to thinking that I just don't have the output I used to, so I decided to keep track of my I/O myself. I have about 500cc output a day, with a GFR of 59 (which isn't too bad) and a creatine(serum) of 1.31. The creatine could be high just due to the fact I exercise quite a bit. So, my labs are a bit off, but not terrible, but I have a horrible output with the BPH symptoms. I have no swelling, but do get the itching which is a common symptom of kidney disease. I exercise daily, don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. Was wanting opinions from qualified people prior to my next visit with the urologist. The labs vs the low output has me confused. One other thing, I only get about 125cc output each time.
The labs were done about 2 months ago as part of a yearly physical. The urologist visit was about 2 weeks ago, with a follow up in the not too distant future. Did the flow test yesterday.
Thanks for any help.
