Hi Humaworm , hi other people on this forum, I hope you will be able to give some advice on a bad case of sinusitis.
My husband was diagnosed with sinusitis in summer 2009 after struggling with headaches, nausea, dizziness, and fatigue for over 1 year.
Since the diagnosis, he followed the recommended therapy. He took a full round of antibiotics, followed by NAC - which he still takes daily. He did aerosol therapy with salt water for all the winter months,he then replaced aerosol with sea salt water inhalations during spring and summer months.
He is not the kind of person who is eager to implement good habits, but I have to admit he was pretty committed since to his say the pain was unbearable and was leading him to depression.
Unfortunately, so far he has not seen dramatic positive results.
We did a parasite cleanse together in winter 2008. I was thinking about purchasing a parasite cleanse for him. He'd also take the lung cleanse, since he smokes, and he smoked for 20+ years. I think a colon cleanse and a liver cleanse would also be beneficial. Is there a "right order" in which he should do the cleanses?
He will turn 49 this year and he is not at all overweight. His diet is not very good though, he eats 100% organic as I am keen on this, but very little fruit/vegetables ( 1 to 2 portions a day to the max). I was able to have him cut on sugar and sweets, but he still loves grains and dairy products, which I guess he'd better give up for a while or at least reduce it. I am afraid that dieting could result opn him losing too much weight. I look for dietary guidelines that could help for sinusitis without being too strict.
One last question, I would like to take a parasite cleanse too, together with a colon cleanse. I now have a 4 months old and he is 100% breastfed. Should I wait huntil he has weaned? It could take 1 year or more from now, but I'll wait if this is necessary.
Thanks for your help,
