Where do you get the connection between the book and the Health Sciences Institute?  The book is published by the Think-Outside-the-Box Publishing Company. You may want to rethink your opinion of the Health Sciences Institute (HSI). While HSI does promote some books it publishes as well as some books by its members, HSI members, including its Healthiertalk.com group, and its writers include some very notable alternative health figures whom I do not consider at to be at all perverse - such as Jon Barron, Dr. Joseph Mercola, Dr. Marc Hyman, Dr. William Douglas, and many more.  And a few fortunate less well known folkd too. Like myself.
