Your baby is protected in the womb and will not get the pinworms during pregnancy. The worms are transported by hand to mouth contact. After the first trimester, other women have been able to successfully eliminate them by using pumpkin seeds and garlic. The traditional amount would be to eat about 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds and some garlic every day for about 10 days. I would also advise bathing every morning to wash away any ova which might have been deposited outside of the anus during the night. The whole family needs to be treated and there needs to be a lot of hand washing to make sure they are not passed back and forth between family members.
