I recently met an amusing women online, we live in d/nt states but we have been commincating via email & phone many times aday. We decided to meet in person but before that we both wanted to do the std tests before we meet. To make long story short, I tested positive for both herpes 1 & 2 that was not what I expected giving my history. I lost whom I thought the love of my life 5 years ago & have been single ever since. I ended up calling him after 5 years after i got my results & he said he had both type 1 & 2 for the last 16 years but never cared to tell me, it was just a nightmare.

Back to my main question, I have told the women that have been dating the bad news & how i got it, she's been very supportive but she never really asked me about our arrengemets to see each other. I took sometime off from work & went some where to think about the whole herpes shock. after i got back we have talked & she kept telling me it's not the end of the world I should accept it but I told her nothing will be the same & my dating life will never be the same & i could never date.
Should I ask her about our plans to meet? as she never said anything about it?
