These sites are full of hype and a lot of misinformation. They are generally selling some mercury binding product or have a site somewhere else selling such a product. So they want to make it sound more scary than it really is so you will buy their product. Or the sites are written by well meaning people that do all their research from these sales sites. This is why we see so many people claiming they have mercury poisoning even though their symptoms are not those of mercury poisoning. These sales sites frequently list symptoms that have nothing to do with mercury.
It would depend on how big the pieces of Amalgam were, and how old they are. If its just a few pieces of old amalgam, then you will be fine.
By quick elimination, I mean have some extra fibre, maybe a few prunes or some prune juice, and you should pass any pieces within the next 24 hours.
You can do an enema if you want to, but it is not necessary.

Brans would be the best. Brans contain phytic acid, which has a high affinity for mercury. The phytic acid will bind the mercury so it cannot affect the body and carry it out of the body.
I prefer softer and more nutritious rive or oat brans.
