That is scary for sure. When the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, they started talking about checking my lungs.
I think Costo can happen from a myriad of things. It's a garbage diagnosis that really doesn't tell you anything. Why is it happening? That's the big question. And it's not one size fits all.
I truly believe it's inflammation issues somewhere in your body from whatever source, whether actual physical trauma, ect.
Recently I found out I was allergic to fish oil. For over a month I had joint pain, and a bunch of other problems. My costo came back really badly. I was so bummed, until I found out about this allergy. As soon as I stopped taking the fish oil, boom the costo went away.
If you've been coughing a lot for any reason, seriously I would go get it checked out. You are pretty young to have lung cancer, really. It could be that your excessive coughing has inflamed something down there, and this is simply trauma.
