I am only publishing this, because I always tell everybody to get copies of all tests they do. The result is more than just what your doctor tells you.
Abdominal ultrasound:
The liver measures 14x12.1x11.2cm, has uniform hyperechoic density throughout. Within the anterior aspect of the right lobe towards midline, there is a focal hypoechoic area, measures 1.7x1x0.9cm, not significantly changed compared to 12/17/03 and 2/03/03 and confirmed by CT scan dated 1/02/04.
The gallbladder contains one large filling defect casting a shadow and representing a gallstone, measures 2.4/2cm and has been reported before.
The common bile duct is normal and has a diameter of 0.3cm.
The pancreas is normal and the head measures 3cm in AP diameter.
Both kidneys are normal, the right measures 11.1cm in length and the left 10.3cm.
The spleen is normal, measures 9.1cm in length. A previously hyperechoic density on 2/03/03 is not recognized.
When they called me the only thing they said everything was fine and the same.
The stone was 2.8cm before (and now 2.4cm), so I don't know if it shrunk or not or they make mistakes in measurements. Please note that the spleen was still back to normal.
Also before the gallbladder was inflammed and had a thickened wall 42mm (now 3mm).
So certainly I am making progress.
