I have the same question. I have been suffering from something, maybe Candida albicans, over the last 18 months or so, probably longer but that's been the length of time my symptoms got really bad. Regardless, the ongoing worst symptoms are abdominal distention and puffy eyes. Recently, my back started to hurt too, around the middle but also lower, as though from the pressure from the bloat.
I'm really thin and always had a flat abdomen until this "problem" began 18 months ago, but this abdominal issue got worse recently. After reading this thread and another, I started to wonder if it might have something to do with the probiotics.
So I stopped for a day or so, and the next day, my abdomen was significantly reduced, the 2nd day, it was flat. My eyes weren't puffy either. I couldn't believe it. I am now on day 3 with no probiotics and things seem better.
Among many things, I'm taking anti-fungals like 4-6 cloves of garlic with coconut oil, mixed with lime juice daily, digestive enzymes, wheatgrass, spirulina, chlorella, lots of supplements and some herbs-pau d'arco,
Black-Walnut , etc.
Last night I ate some blue corn chips, which Donna Gates claims are fine to eat, but I bloated up some, eyes were puffy, abdomen a bit distended again, and some gas when I woke up. I don't know if it's the salt or the corn chips but there goes another food that's off my list. I'm down to very little now.
I did a fast recently, have been doing daily
coffee enemas too, so I started taking juniper berries to lessen the burden on my kidneys, some nettle tea sometimes. I also take activated charcoal considering I do feel I'm constantly detoxing. Who knows, but I'm feeling better than I was, but not at all out of the warzone yet.
