Welcome to your own fast. All the best to you and i hope you will have all the support you need. While fasting, you can reinforce in your mind, heart and soul the way you want to eat when you emerge and hopefully build some strong and lasting healthful habits.

I believe you are asking how many times we fasted before? I was reluctant to answer this but in the spirit of providing information here goes...
My first fast was 2 days and 5 hours and i thought it was the hardest thing i had ever done in my life. This was for spiritual reasons and was about 17 years ago.
Soon after this came 3, 5, and 10 days, then a series of about 25 "7-8 day" fasts over the years with one that i felt strongly compelled to break early at 5 days. Also in that time was a 14 day fast which included a drive up the coast of California, a 4 day stay in Redwood National Park and a visit to San Francisco among other places.
About 15 months ago (it really seems like longer but it wasn't) i discovered this forum and through the knowledge and confidence i gained, most especially from the fasting wisdom of Chrisb1, i was able to fast 10 days then 30 (to completion!) then 30 again (not to completion).
This current fast which is going very smoothly at the moment i intend to attempt about 30 days again unless i reach completion first or encounter some other reason to end early, or unless i am feeling great at 30 days in which case there is an excellent chance i will continue deeper like my hero Waterdesign : ).
