I went to the orthopedic doctor last week, another doctor thought i may have a tear in my muscle, he moved it around and i heard a popping noise and intense pain...he gave me a cortisone shot...by the time i got to the front to check out I was literally crying. I cried for 2 days couldn't raise my arm like before the shot just now it was a thousand times worse. It has now been over a week..had a mri today. Still in intense pain and can not use my arm or raise it. I have a hard time sleeping because of the pain..he gave me strong pain meds and a muscle relaxer and all it is doing is taking my mind off the pain. Has anyone else experienced this? It feels like my shoulder is locked or if someone is holding down my shoulder so i can not raise it..it tends to pop in and out of joint...this all began 5 years ago after a car wreck...I was diagnosed with a separated shoulder, same doctor put a shot in my shoulder and it fixed it..like immediately, started having problems again a few years ago..now this..can anyone help?

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,603,598My right shoulder went frozen with pain and nerve spasms that caused me not to sleep well due to piercing pain shooting with each attempt to get comfortable.
This went on for almost a year before it got better and I could not move my arm. Now a year later the other shoulder is doing it.
I think it is due to extreme stress as it happened when my father died. The doctor gave me strong NSAIDS pain relievers and thats it. I am taking them and it masks the pain so it has not frozen yet the issue stays.
I was told this primarily happens to women over forty and they don't know why it does.
Once the shoulder gets better it never re-occurs on the same shoulder. Its just awful to contend with.

Sounds like your doctor is a trained chimp of the pharmaceuticals. Cortisone is only a temporary fix.

This is a reply to # 1,603,598I have Frozen Shoulder and have been to a message therapist, and 2 different Chiropractors. I did research and found out about the ARPwave machine. The ARPwave is used by sports figures and has not been incorporated into mainstream chiropractic offices.
Just started ARPwave therapy today and I have 5 more treatments to rid myself of pain and an additional 5 treatments to gain complete mobility. No shot, no pain, no exercises as of yet, just sitting for 5 minutes with an electrode connected to my shoulder. WOW! Can you imagine being pain free and healed in 10 days?

This is a reply to # 1,876,974It works. Find you an experienced ARPwave Chiropractor and start treatments. I have had 11 treatments and am using my arm and have little pain. The sun is shining and life is good again. I'll go for a few more treatments but it is healed.
Even if you have to travel out of state for many miles, run do not walk to your nearest Arpwave therapist.
I'll be back with more detail.

Oh Damn. I did not see the Liver Flush protocol on Curezone. I was in too much pain to read any postings in detail but now, I have gone back to read what others have posted. It seems to work for people so try the Liver Flush before taking on the expense of Arpwave. Arpwave is an effective and fast alternative and it helped me tremendously.

This is a reply to # 1,887,211EDIT: I re-injured my shoulder and was in excruciating pain. I went to an Acupuncture specialist and that one treatment did more to relieve my pain that 7 APRwave treatments. I would suggest anyone with pain to see an Acupuncturist right away.
My ARPwave treatment was $45.00 a shot. Most treatments are much more expensive. Try to find a Chiropractor that services athletes. My Chiropractor helps many high school soccer and athletic teams so his prices are reasonable. Thank goodness I found a reasonable Doctor.
