I have these very stubborn rashes on my face. They are actually more like a bunch of pus bumps that located very close to each other around my mouth, chin and below both of my eyes (top of my cheeks). Now the pus bumps around my mouth are spreading outward towards the cheeks. The pus bumps on top of the cheeks are also spreading. They do not itch at all, and there is no pain. Other areas of my body are fine. I also have a moderate level of brain fog that stays 24/7 which I think might be related to the pus bumps. My abilities to organize and multitask have been greatly reduced. My physical strength is fine as well.
I have had this condition since I stopped taking very high doses of
Antibiotics for 1.5 years for Lyme disease. I was being seen by a0 naturopathic doctor who diagnosed me with Lyme, and for that year and a half, she prescribed me a whole bunch of high strength
Antibiotics that are usual for Lyme disease patients. I felt great and my skin was perfect while on these things. After she declared me lyme-free, she told me to wean off the meds. About 3 weeks after this, the first rash/pus bumps started to appear below my mouth and under my eyes. Now it is all over my face. I have been fighting these pus bumps for about 8 months so far, and it is definitely only getting worse and spreading.
Most pus bumps are about 0.25 to 0.75
cm in diameter, and they are slightly deep in the skin, not on the very surface of the skin. Some of them will eventually reach the surface and drain this bloody pus and lots of it, and will refill very quickly. The bumps make my skin red. The skins around these areas are also cracking and peeling. I can push these pus bumps with my finger and can feel the pus inside squishing around.
I have tried the following (I would say I gave each of these at least
1-2 weeks worth of try):
apple cider vinegar (internally and externally),
baking soda internally,
fucidal ointment ,
clotrimazole 1% ,
ketoconazole 2% cream,
Protopic ointment 0.1%,
hydrogen peroxide 3%,
food grade hydrogen peroxide taken internally,
borax,
Epsom Salts ,
coconut oil (internally and externally),
turmeric powder (internally and externally),
chlorhexidine gluconate 4.0%,
aloe gel,
probiotics
I’m very tired of fighting this and I feel like I’m losing this battle. I’m at the point where I will try anything now. Please let me know anything I could do that might help me with this.
Thank you very much
