He started three years ago with SMALL amounts. He detoxed so bad and uncomfortably he quit altogether.
Then, recently, he got a lung infection with constant coughing (but NOT bringing up phlegm) and his head "felt like it weighed a ton". He couldn't rid himself of it, and he finally told me to give him whatever I felt he should get. It took him getting really sick to realize the importance of
Iodine and iodide. For the week he was sick he actually took a GRAM of the
SSKI three or four times a day! He is now SOLD on Trap's
SSKI - he never forgets to take it at night. 4 drops now, every night*
He is already VERY good in coughing and reproducing phlegm. Starting
SSKI finally helped the phlegm not only to break DOWN, but he was actually able to dislodge it and spit it out. Very thick and green and yellow. (sorry)
He was exhausted, but breathing better even after that first day. He pushed through it.
*He wants easy-peasy ways to do things. The simpler, the better. So, he takes his
Iodine first thing in the morning, and his sski, and companion nutrients at night. He takes his companion nutrients in the form of "Emergen-C" brand fizzy-drink mix, which has vitamins and minerals, including potassium and magnesium, but not selenium (or enough selenium), so he takes those in pill form ("Now-brand" selenimethionine).
There isn't a lot of potassium in the powder, either, but he loves potatoes and bananas so I'm not too concerned about him getting enough potassium, as those foods are pretty high in it.
