I'm preparing for my second liver flush. I had no problems with taking the malic acid for the first flush 3 weeks ago but I've to stop this time as it feels like an ulcer.
Could malic acid cause ulcers? Particularly if the person is overacidic?

This is a reply to # 157,859I did! I stopped with malic acid because every time I had some I felt a burning sensation in my stomach. Go for either Gold Goin Grass or Chanca Piedra which do the same as malic acid but as they are not acidic your body tends to take them well.
When I had malic acid right after a meal I usually felt better then taking it on empty stomach.

This is a reply to # 157,868I did not do too well either. I use now apple cider vinegar but only 2 tbs in 16 oz water.
Chanca piedra can be used for months and at liverflush time you can add the malic acid or GCG for 6 days before. I once asked Andreas if I could use GCG and Chanca Piedra at the same time and he said Yes.

Boronia I think I have seen you on Ask Andreas Moritz Forum to.
If you check to-day's page, there is answer to kirk. He says you can take 4 glasses of cranberry juice instead of malic acid. May be you want to check it out.

Yes I've just read Andreas' message so will probably give the cranberry juice a go as I won't be able to get hold of the GCG or chanca piandra herbs in time.

This is a reply to # 157,881The chanca piedra I have always bought from them. I used to buy the tincture and one time they sent me a free bottle of capsules, because they were out of tincture, and later they sent me the bottle and never charged me extra.
I follow now what it says on the bottle, but when I started in the beginning I think Andreas told me to do 20 drops 3x a day.
The GCG you can buy from sensiblehealth.
Now I use the capsules, just easy, and Andreas said that was ok.

I wonder how big the glasses are. If I it were me, I'd probably go with the malic acid over pure unsweetened cranberry juice.
I drink lots of unsweetened cranberry juice, but I dilute it 8x with pure water. When I think I have a UTI, I drop to 4x dilution but it is really hard to take. I can't imagine drinking undiluted Pure Cranberry, even 4 oz, let alone 4 glasses.
Has anyone clarified this?

Otherwise no problem.
You can always eat apples. They taste great, too.
