You also need plenty of DHA and EPA, which are the fatty acids that your body utilizes to build nerve tissue. I like "Nordic naturals" brand DHA capsules. Also remember to get plenty of lecithin and B. vitamins. Those are all the main nutrients that form the building blocks for nerve tissue. raw egg yolks are an absolutely awesome of getting all of the above.
One other thing to mention -- cholesterol. Without cholesterol you cannot create new nerve tissue. Don't buy into the hype that cholesterol is bad. It is absolutely critical for the nervous system.
