Sara Sara,
depressed?
There is nothing but nothing worse than depression...........except a terminal illness perhaps.
Food can be a great comforter. Some people turn to ciggies and some alcohol, but food is ok within those parameters.
What have you done or been doing about your depression?
My holiday was fine. Quiet at Christmas ( I told the family I would be cooking the traditional Christmas dinner this year........................so they said they'd better order a takeaway now then!!)
Christmas is the only time of year I do not combine my foods correctly and enjoyed every morsel......Chicken not turkey (too dry), steamed veggies of carrots, brussel sprouts, roasted parsnips, courgettes fried in butter, piggies in blankets, roasted potatoes, and mashed potatoes with lashings of organic gravy and of course Yorkshire pudding, followed a little while later with traditional Christmas pudding and custard.
Scrumptious.
Even quieter on New Years eve, but then I am at the time of life where I don't crave excitement or stimulation but contented with my lot.
Snow here is about a foot thick or more and couldn't get to work.......shame really!!!
We have to do something about your depression.
Chris
