Due to a recent (huge!) run on Eyebright tincture/formula, we are officially out until the full moon (December 31).
How huge was the "run"? We normally supply 2-3 people monthly with Eyebright, and this month we provided 6 people with it...and that was BEFORE this weeks run of 10-12 orders (due to the thread in Trappers forum). We knew we needed to make more this moon cycle, but we thought we had enough to last at least several more months.
YAY!!! tonight is a new moon so we're making lots more! I will keep one gallon on my desk, shaking it a zillion times daily...so that when we harvest it on the 31st it will be much better than yer average tincture :)
This is a first for us. Rocky has done *fantastically amazingly* in the last 8/9 months...as we've gone from supplying a handful of people a month to hundreds of orders monthly. For this to be the first time we've ever run out of ANYTHING in all that time...well, that's just phenomenal in my book.
(Don't wanna 'tell a lie' here about *never* running out...we did run out for a day or two of slippery elm and IF#2, but that was 100% the fault of Mountain Rose. Two times they shipped a huge order to us (5 days shipping time) WITHOUT notifying us they were out of slippery elm and hadn't included it in the order...until FOUR DAYS after they'd shipped it! That meant we had to order from another company and pay overnite shipping to get it here).
'Sorry for the delay folks - it'll be back in stock for the New Year!

I'm gonna go check as soon as I post this but I'm thinking that Uny said that she was going to send the Eyebright that is already formulated with Dr. Christopher's amount of Cayenne but she would also send the EXTRA amount if you wanted to make it as hot as Schulze's lol.
I'd NOT add the extra Cayenne until you tried the bottle of Eyebright with the Christopher amount.
I'm off to check on what Uny said. Be back in a few.

Here ya go Telly. I knew I saw where Uny had mentioned sending the extra Cayenne.
"We no longer sell it without Cayenne - as of today, we mix it all to Dr. Christopher's formula and include a little bit of Cayenne 'on the side' (if added to the bottle, would turn it into Dr. Schulzes formula/ratio)."
What you've got in the Eyebright bottle is Christopher's formula (not as hot) so I can hardly wait until you try it to see if the BURN is there for you lol. If not then you can add the extra Cayenne she sent with it but I'd sure try Christopher's first if I were you.
I'll be sittin on pins and needles until I hear back from you. Go for it Telly!

I was scared too. The first couple of times I did it I put the cup over my eye and just stood there with my eye closed in the cup thinking about what I was about to do lol! But I wasn't able to talk myself out of it! No, I didn't want to talk myself outta it, I WANTED to do it more than anything to get rid of these stupid reading glasses once and forever!!!!!!

I felt the exact same way....I just did it!!! both eyes... just like Uny said...I heated the eyecup first...just did one drop to start...wasn't bad at all!! Mild sting but NOTHING like I was expecting...was able to rotate eyes as many times as I wanted....feels refreshed after..next time 2 drops!!!

OMG, I'm so happy that it was like that for you. I guess we've got a higher tolerance for it than most people YAY for us. I'm up to 3 drops now and it stings a little more but still not burning when I open my eyes.
I guess the true test will come when I get Uny's bottle of Eyebright but if it didn't BURN for you then I'd say mine is the correct ratio now and hers won't BURN either! That means we can add more drops until we get the BURN lol.
YAY for both of us. We'll rock this and correct our eyesight!!!
I'm so very HAPPY!!!!!

I've now done 4 drops and still not the BURN but more stinging. I'm going to keep adding drops every few days to see if I get the BURN.
Its hard to describe the way your eyes feel after the wash huh? They feel very soothed, things look brighter or sharper or something, its hard to put into words really, but its GREAT!
Uny and Rocky do that thing with wrapping their eyelids over the rim of the cup but I can't even bring myself to try that, just thinking about it makes me cringe lol. What I do is fill the cup right below the rim line then add my drops. Only the first time did the solution run down my face. I guess its a matter of placing it correctly over your eye. I'm sure the more you do it the less that will happen. :)
This eyewash is miraculous stuff. I can't wait until my eyesight starts improving. I hope everyone who got the eyewash will post their thoughts on it.

I'm going to do the same...just keep adding till it burns....after the initial sting I'm thinking a full blown burn won't even be that bad....keeping fingers crossed LOL...you are right, it is hard to explain but my eyes do feel better....sharper and "cleaner" ...tomorrow I start the full blown deal....numerous washes and internal

I think I'll stay at 4 drops for a few days so that I maybe can get over the scare of the burn lol but like you say it might not be that bad.
Just a little heads up on the taste of the tincture. As tinctures go the Eyebright has the worst taste of any I've had, even cayenne lol. So forewarned is forearmed. I'm gonna try it in some juice tomorrow, really not that bad but a lot worse than others. :)
I'll keep you posted, you do the same kay?

I agree, we gotta show em then there won't be any argument as far as I'm concerned. Of course they'll try to find away to cover it up but we'll KNOW the TRUTH and the LIGHT of that TRUTH will shine BRIGHTLY indeed!!!
Rant on Uny, we NEED to get over the complaining and just DO what we know is right and true!
