I made a few batches of CS with my SilverPuppy last week.
They are stored in glass bottles, completely shielded from all light, stored at room temperature.
When the batch was done, it measured about 19uS.
Now, a week later, I tested them again. They are now down to about 9uS.
Is this normal?
Does it keep degrading like that over time? Will it be 3uS in four weeks etc?- Re: Is this normal? alive76

This is a reply to # 1,534,335I've never noticed any significant drop more than 3 uS.
Maybe it's plating the glass. Or if you stir it slightly with your meter you might get a different reading.
A magnetic field might drop the PPM
Some say they let it sit for a while and then run the machine again after the PPM drops a little. Some like it at 5 PPM so 9 uS is still good.
I just made a batch that was clear and then later turned bright yellow. Doesn't matter I'm still going to use it and I actually prefer it yellow. Different every time.

It will likely stabilize at some value soon. You can make it for nothing any old time anyway.
