Well I was sickened to see the execution of the DC killer to be such a hot topic. Have we become a killer nation that we are indeed acting as the killer did.
I do not believe in capital punishments as we are not God. I do not believe that killing a man for killing others is right. Let him rot in jail and be a boyfriend to some inmate.
I hated to see so much glorification of any death. Isn't this veterans day? The day when we remember the dead and those who died to save our country?
DC killer, shame on you for what you did.
Killer of the DC killer, shame on you too.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,521,900I to cringed at this exeution, as I do at every execution, although I don't particulary like the language of "rotting in jail, etc. etc. I also found it odd that Curezone had nothing to say about it....even on the debate and "Death Penalty forum.
I work for a criminal attorney who is very knowledable about the history of executions, and make no mistake about it...it is a political ploy, not a moral one.
I also cringe at the thought that, if karma is true, we live in a Universe that runs on revenge rather then forgiveness and rehabiltation. It seems as if all this does is keep the ball rolling...which must be true, for, in my opinion, if the human race was stripped of its technology, we haven't changed much over the centuries.

This is a reply to # 1,522,323Well I do not believe criminals are rehabilitated in jail they become more corupt and when they get out there is absolute no help for them. NO one will hire them so how do they live. Many go back to crime just to eat and exist.
I do believe that Allah or God is in charge of punishment and I do believe that murderers have to pay for what they do, but we are not God and we do not have the right to take anyones life.
Like they said on tv, he has a family too and they lost a father. Who knows why he did what he did but I do know this, no one dies before their time and if he had not killed them they would of died somehow.
Funny, I was thinking of my precious tonight as it has been 4 months yesterday and seeking solace in her passing as I miss her so much.

This is a reply to # 1,522,332Have you ever heard of this? a therapist in Hawaii healed violent ciminally ill mental patients simply by chanting "I'm Sorry and I Love You" over and over again. They did not even have to be in the room. He would just stare at their files and then...work on himself. I'm sorry - means he is sorry for the part of him that contriubted to their pain.
These people were so bad that other therapists quit. But after a few months, with him, those had had to be shackled were allowed to walk freely...those that were on heavy medication were weaned off...
The staff stopped callin in sick and quiting all the time, too.
You can google this. This is real. Of course, there is no money in it...so his success has not caught on...
I keep these words taped to my dash board and try to remember to chant them as often as possible.- Re: Ho'Oponopono mo123
