Since I mention this herb so much I thought I would post some links to information:

Is this a good place to buy it?

And I can't find fresh watercress anywhere and I couldn't grow it from seed. Is watercress herb OK?

Yes, that is fine. The powder is going to be the best.

Starwest carries it:

But you can grow it from seed as well. This is great for salads and sandwiches. It is the herb (leafy area) that is used.
The only problem is Starwest didn't have andrographis.
Is there a Chinese name for watercress?
And what about the concentrated powder (red)? You're saying to get the powder (blue)?

I am sure there is, but I have never been able to find it and I have looked several times.

Blue, the straight powder, not the concentrate.
I chop this in half and use occasionally as a digestive bitter (suck on it for about 5 minutes before a meal).

The note, on the bottle, says do not take for more than 10 days.
I figure that I'm cutting it in half and only using for one meal and only a few days per week, that it might be alright. It is the King of the Bitters after all.
But since I sometimes don't have any sense, would you give me permission HV? Or to anyone else who might want to use this.
If you mean to use it more than 10 days this is fine. Taken at therapeutic doses its main adverse effect is stomach upset in some people, which is likely from the liver detox. And it reduces fertility, which may or not be a good thing depending on the individual.
Would buying a powder be so much better? If so, how much to use as a digestive bitter and how frequent?
You only need to taste it, so a large pinch right before meals is my recommendation.
