I am in the market for a pulser but the most popular ones like Sota are extremely out of my budget.
Would a cheap-o pulser like one of these Ebay ones work, particularly the $99 one? The seller has lots of good ratings.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,511,735Steve88, I've bought that magnetic pulser...it is very weak....auto-pulser....all it is is a flashtube you buy at Radioshack-hooked to a coil...nothing is modified in the board, the guy just soldered the coil wires to the bulb in the flashtube....if you buy Magnetic pulser get one that uses either a Camera Flash, or build one using AC power like Chris Gupta's Plans...it's powerful...

personally I would buy the Coil off ebay $20, and then build Chris Gupta's AC powered Magnetic pulser, you can make it as powerful as you want.

This is a reply to # 1,511,713These divices should work fine. Just ask if they are made from the bob beck schamatics. I actually made one myself. Radio SHack didnt have all the parts so I had to buy them on the internet. If you need the schamaics you can get them at http://curesforalldiseases.com
