I noticed that recently too.It does Not look anything like the Bentonite stuff Ive used.Bentonite is white powder and the litter is dark/medium gray.

Does anyone know if you can use it as a replacement?

I don't know about this kitty litter, I think there is something in it to make it a granule. I typed in the key word " Spa wholesale" and a lot of websites came up. I found a site in Canada (where I'm from) that sells Bentonite clay powder by the pound. Wouldn't a mud bath at home plug up your bathtub? Or maybe it would clean all the slime out of all your pipes. A mudbath at a Spa in about $37 or $47, I plan on trying it. Right now I bought some clay soap from the health food store. I say hold off on the kitty litter longer and research again.

This was fun, and oh! you can buy it at the Nursery...for your soil, at the Pet store for you Fish and Cat, at a Well Digger for your well or road, or at the Health Food Store...I will say this, If I am going to INGEST it I would buy it at the health food store because special care...I hope...has been given bcause you will be taking this into your body, however if you wanted to BATHE in it for an EXTERIOR SKIN DETOX than why not do a litte research in the yellow pages to see who sells it inexpensely in your area? On the internet I saw that one company sold it at 50 lbs. for $20.00, and no shipping fee...and I believe is was the powder...not the kitty litter...ha:)

Delight, can you remember the name of the site where you could get a 50 lb bag in powder form for $20? That would be wonderful!
