--Not at all, what Canadians have is a publicly funded medical system. The working person pays for this; the income tax rate is often 40% (tiered rate depending on income). So people are forced to paying for hospitals and MD's etc. If they want to improve their health using herbs, essential oils, etc., they have to pay out of their own pocket while still being forced to support a toxic medical system that they don't believe in. You can get basic "free" medical care in emergencies such as if you break a bone or need stitches or get in an auto accident. You wouldn't be bankrupted by something like that, like in the U.S. More and more medical services, over and above the basic ones are becoming privatized and you have to pay for them.
