It's been a rough week here, friends...and I apologize for my absence.
Rocky's mom (Anna, 83 years old) was admitted to the hospital last week after a very tough/painful prior three weeks dealing with the shingles. The reason for the admission was excess fluid, and she was "in & out" the next day (this has happened several times before). But this time she didn't get better, she got weaker, was readmitted...and she continued to go downhill.
We got the phone call that she died about an hour & and half ago. Rocky's in the shower now (after only 3 hours of sleep :::sigh:::), and he'll be headed to the airport in a couple of hours (4 1/2 hour drive to the airport), and then on to Dallas to be with his brothers and sister for a couple of days. He'll be returning on Monday.
Please offer up your prayers & 'good energy' for Rocky's safe travel & return...and for us, our family (and for the thousands of others) that lost someone that was precious to them last night.
Ahhh, the circle of life...

I loved Anna. She was one of my role models. Such an inspiration.
Is there anything we can do from here? Or rather, what do you need us to do with the forum (or anything) while you attend to Rocky and the family, Uny? You know Willowley and I can hold the fort down, with others, in your absence.
I love both of you, you know that. I am so sorry for your loss.

Uny & Rocky I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. It's not an easy thing to have to go through, you'll both be in my prayers.
I'm sending you both vibes of strength, comfort, and endurance during this time of reflection and celebrating Anna's life.
I'm sure her spirit is soaring free of pain and full of eternal peace.
As Wings said, anything we can do to help during this time we'd be honored to do, just give us the word.

I thought she was gonna pull through. Ah, honey - I am SO SO SORRY!
We're in West Virginia and the boys are programming. I've had you on my mind all day through the drive here and during the sunset tonight over the mountains I thought about you and wondered how his mom was doing. Love you both dearly - I'm so very sorry. - and yet - I'm very happy for her. What a lovely passage - a quick one, very little pain and onto much more dense and lofted heights than she could experience here.

I'm so sorry for you and Rocky's loss. I'm not sure if Anna was the one you mentioned that was cured of liver cancer, but if she was, she was a great inspiration to a lot of others who were on liver protocols.
Somehow I believe her story will live on for a long time...

I hope Rocky and both of you will take(should) the time needed or desired to spend with family and with the mourning process. We all here and this forum has more than enough to do to keep busy with education and the healting process, to get along without you for as long as needed.

I just got back home about 45 minutes ago from Dallas and hadn't had a chance to see this thread until a short while ago. I am genuinely touched by everybody's caring and support.
My mom (besides being my mom) was also my friend and teacher throughout my whole life. She was a very wise woman and would gladly share her knowledge with anybody who would listen. [Uny edit: And sometimes she shared her knowledge & truth with people that WOULDN'T listen...that's just one of the reasons I loved her so much. I used to be "one of those that wouldn't listen"]. I seriously doubt if Uny and I would be where we are today if not for her inspiration and knowledge.
In answer to Jay's post...yes, my mom was the woman that Uny was referring to that had beat stage 4 terminal liver cancer back in the late 70's via the care and protocols of the late, great Dr. William Donald Kelly (and she spent some time at Dr. Gerson's in Mexico).
Once again, thank you all. Mom is now off on a grand adventure.
