#120496,
sorry for the delay.
A fast of two weeks would require at least that number of days of refeeding, but ideally a half time again, making 21 days in total.
Be sure to replenish your food reserves with nutrient-dense foods which are plant-based and (ideally) organic.
"Problems with lightheadedness, balance and eye floaters right after breaking a fast"?
It will take the body a while to readjust after the breaking of a fast, so lightheadedness and balance are usually the body readjusting to a lowered blood pressure: this should slowly disappear as you re-feed.
Eye floaters are usually little specks of debris floating through the vitreous fluid in the eyeball. Sometimes people can confuse them with dust or tiny insects floating across the front of the eye. This means that not all of the toxemia has been eliminated, and are still circulating within the bloodstream.
Are they serious?
Under normal circumstances, eye floaters are absolutely nothing to worry about. Everyone experiences them from time to time and they cause no ill effects, until eliminated via the second fast or while following an abstemious diet as mentioned above.
If these symptoms persist, then get back to me.
