Some of the apples growing in my neighborhood are excellent, some are crummier than the boughten ones.

They generally do not taste diff enough to tell by that alone.

The poor ones often look bigger and better.

So, I say:

A top quality apple a day, IF CHECKED BY A REFRACTOMETER FOR QUALITY, will keep the doc away,

But those big, pretty, poor quality ones are a doc magnet!!!
