Hi Kathy,
Liver Flushing is absolutely the best way to get the liver back on the road to recovery - but your prior experience suggests that you already know that!
It's a good idea to periodically flush, particularly if your liver has the tendency to form new stones constantly. I suspect most people fall into this category. I strongly doubt that one (or one series) of
Liver Flushes is enough. We continue to breathe, eat, and metabolize, so
Liver Flushing from time to time should help remove stones which form as a matter of daily living.
You could assist your body in reducing the toxins present in the liver tissues themselves by doing a series of cleanses (also periodically), including colon, parasite, kidney and even blood and lung cleansing. Information for all these cleanses are found in the tabs at the top of the page, and also in FAQ.
Occasional Master Cleanses, if you have the fortitude, can help greatly in reducing the overall level of toxins in the body. If the liver tissues (and kidney tissues) contain less toxins, they can be more effective in clearing toxins from the blood, which (I believe) can reduce the amount which precipitate into stones.
Changing your diet can also help. Eating organic food when possible, juicing, reducing meats, consuming healthy oils, especially flaxseed, trying Tsetsi's Lime/oo mini-flush, all these can help build your strength and support your liver. If you google CZ with Tsetsi, you'll find her recipe. While the results are somewhat spotty, I believe that the drink itself is an excellent way to support the liver.
Keep up the good work!
