I had spent well over 3 years debating these issues... about 2 - 4 months (I cannot remember the depth of the loss) or so of the best information was wiped out with a CZ crash a few years ago... go to the alkaline/acid debate forum and the ML protocol debate threads.
I am not about to rehash and go through all of that again; I have proved it all beyond a doubt to myself with hours upon hours of research, reading and years of application, and I do not need some peer reviewed $$$ study to prove it to me, though I searched for and found mountains of supporting information... in addition, ML will not do your homework for you either.
While you see many people on CZ scurrying from one forum to the next looking for answers, as I did in the beginning (bowel, liver flush, etc), some for years with the same problems, I have resolved mine, as others have with ML's teachings, and have moved on and off of CZ - some great people stick around to help others... bless them... that those who resolve their issues move on, should tell you something... that those that practice and stick with it, do not wander through forum after forum looking for answers should tell you something... they already have the answers.
I suppose some will always want some "perceived" authority figure to tell them that such and such is safe and okay beyond a doubt... too bad most of them end up being wrong; probably why "doctors" remove and burn things out... among other things... they do not know what else to do.
Too much water (anything) will kill you... is it safe?
Calcium Hydroxide (lime) mixed with H2O has been used since before recorded time for many things including increasing the nutritional value of foods such as in nixtamalization... limewater soaked bandages were also used since who knows when (medieval monks recorded it s use), for hand and wound disinfecting, cleaning and healing.
BSM has been a known beneficial nutritional supplement for ages...
ES for about 400 years...
Lemons and ACV are also self explanatory and used for thousands of years...
Kelp... same thing...
The foundation of the drink, a sugar (BSM) and an acid (lemon or ACV) has been used for millennia as well - Ancient Egyptians used it, Hippocrates mentions it as a great reviving and health tonic; it was known and used as switchel in colonial America.
One could argue the efficacy or safety of any ingredient used alone, to excess, or its quality... but that is not what is being applied here... they are used together for a reason. It is up to the user to adjust the amount of each ingredient based upon their own unique needs.
And as always, ML insists on the best quality you can find... but will also instruct on how to use what you have if it is all you can get your hands on.
You can look all these separate "parts" of the drink up as they apply to soil, plant, animal, and human health together or separately... start with the soil.

It is Sad but True that we can lead a horse to water, but cannot force it to drink!
Also that many folks are like Birds of a feather, in that they flock together and cry on each others shoulders, complaining they are Sick and Diseased, but are not willing to change their Poor Lifestyle, which many times is the Cause for their Poor condition!
Then to top this off, they seem to Hate those finding Success who have learned to take Personal Responsibility and pulled up their own bootstraps to find Healing!
Why could it be that some Fine folks are willing to take Personal Responsibility to help themself then help others, yet others just want to complain, all the while staying Sick and Diseased?
Anyone who wants to review any poster on curezone can find out which folks have enough of a backbone to learn to take Personal Responsibility and find Healing!
At the same time one may review those who just kinda drift from one forum to the next and one Magic pill to the next, Never finding Healing, yet always ready to Complain about those who have found Healing!
Maybe some folks just get off on Complaining with others of the same Feather about those who have enough of a Backbone to help themself?
Maybe these Poor folks just feel intimidated by those willing to take Personal Responsibility?

The old timers here know I had my share of bullying to deal with, both on and off line by members and moderators alike (evidence still exists in the debate forums among others)... like the lobsters in the pot pulling the one making his way to freedom back in.

Our public officials seem to have forgotten their Oath of office where they swore to uphold the Constitution and be our Servants and Protect our FREEDOMS?

From what I've seen, it takes little or nothing to provoke trouble at this forum. People that don't kiss ML's butt get banned. Is that how it goes here? Don't hold your breath waiting for me to kiss anyone's butt here. Are most of you Republicans that hate Democrats?
This is *supposed* to be a public forum, not *ML's forum*. I didn't say anything to get me into trouble at any reasonable, friendly, unbiased forum, and if I did here, this is not the type of forum I care to hang out at. I belong to many forums and I get along well with people at most of them. This one is quite different than the others. There seems to be very little sense of humor at this forum, and very little tolerance of the slightest amount of conflict.
In my post, I let you know that I *considered* accepting your ideas if I didn't have to deal with political preaching. If you care more about preaching one sided political ideas than your health practice, than this is*definitely* not the place for me.
IMHO, I was not being disrespectful in my last post. I told you how I feel. If you don't want to consider how I / others feel, than this group will be shutting out a significant amount of people. Why try to divide us with political fear mongering?
Don't preach politics to me or try to force feed politics to me when I come here seeking health / diet info.
All there are here are OPINIONS. NO ONE has all the answers to everyone's health issues. I'm no newcomer to holistic health websites. We are all different. When someone makes a comment or asks a question, a mod can offer an OPINION. Opinions are not necessarily THE answer and should not be implied as such. ML is not God, and I will not treat him as God. He has helped some or many people no doubt, and that's great, but I have a very unique body chemistry affected my Mercury Toxicity and I don't think he knows a whole lot about chelating Hg, so he needs to be patient with someone like me.
For example, I cannot get too alkaline. I've learned it's all about BALANCE, not drinking alkaine drinks until the cows come home. If I get too alkaline I will be so tired that I cannot hardly lift a finger. Mercury toxicity caused me to get low stomach acid output and I have to BALANCE my pH, not get extreme either way. So, for me, the alkaline drink doesn't work, in general. I ate too much fruit, mostly mangoes, over the Summer and got too alkaline from it, the first time in quite a while, and I am still dealing with it.

You were coming across as someone who was going to get booted if someone did not speak up quickly to make you understand.
I'm glad you are interested and I hope you take this very seriously....almost like you are at school, because a successful report card in this forum is how well you take personal responsibilty for your studies and putting what you learn into action.

OK thanks. I said some things and I thought I'd get booted and when I saw that I didn't, I seemed to warm up to the place. :)
It's OK if this site is different than most as long as y'all understand that I have a very unique body chemistry and that I have to balance my pH, unlike others that can take all kinds of alkalizing foods and drinks.

Answer: First you need to read the terms of service as it pertains to private forums such as this!
What you are refering to has to deal with Personal Responsibility and Free will choice that Everyone has, including YOU!
When folks take this kind of attitude and want to Blame everone else for their own problems because of their own Poor choices, one is sure to get Cursings instead of Blessings!
Solution is to NOT read any messages that offend yourself!
Don't try Blaming the writer for your Lack of control!

I think he is TOTALLY wrong to push his half baked politcial beliefs on a PUBLIC health forum. I could NEVER believe in him after reading the crazy political stuff he posts. My body and my political beliefs are separate, and I don't care about combining the two.

I've only been on MMS for a month or so but I've had some serious reactions that were not fun. This last episode laid me on my back for at least one day with major fatigue, palpitations, etc. I thought I could handle 1 drop 3x daily, but got D again and lost minerals again.
I'm beginning UT and I think it might make a better therapy for me, at least for now. I just don't know if I want to risk going through that torture again. Maybe I'm so toxic that it's like trying to empty the ocean with a thimble.
I may very well quit grains too. The SCDiet is a very good idea.

I learned a long time ago that anyone flaky enough to fetch year old posts out of the archives are not of a sound mind. This, IMHO, is a sign of a loser of an argument. Not that I didn't already have my mind made up about you anyway..
You know SOOOOOO little about me, but you THINK you know SOOOOO much. The fact is, there are many people you DO NOT know anything about, and you will never find out because your way of doing things here scares most of them away. That's good that you and a few others here are healthy, or maybe even many people, but that in no way means that your program can help me. The fact is, your attitude will not allow me to open up to anything you know that might be true.
Your first mistake are the political posts. The anti Obama posts will scare away 2/3 of the new people that come here, because that's how many voted for Obama.
