Isn't it amazing to see all the studies confirming nano-silver's effectiveness in the face of continued mainstream denials that it is a scam that has no effect inside the body, works only as a placebo, or else has dire safety issues? Yet, on the other hand there is the mainstream driven effort by pharmaceutical company funded activist groups to have silver regulated as a pesticide because it DOES work (thier logic is that it should be regulated as a pesticide because it kills "bugs" like viruses and bacteria).
Face it, mainstream medicine hates anything that represents a threat to the hundreds of billions in profits they make each year off their patented unnatural drugs, and will go to great lengths to protect the monopoly they believe is their private marketplace: our bodies. Perhaps nothing represents more of a threat than silver.
Oh yes, it is a scam and doesn't work - that has to be why millions of people around the world continue to use it. And obviously that was why it was widely prescribed by medical doctors before the advent of patentable and more profitable antibiotics.
No effects whatsoever inside the human body? That explains the recent Hungarian studies which found specific silver receptors on human tissue, and also explains the joint study between the University of Texas and Mexico University published in the Journal of Nanotechnology which showed that silver nanoparticles of sizes 1-10nm attached to HIV-1 and prevented the virus from bonding to host cells. That also explains the study in the article posted above.
Should I also mention the study conducted by the Department of Microbiology at Kyungpook National University in Daegu, Korea, and published in the prestigious Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology, which found that nano-silver was comparable in effectiveness to Amphotericin B, one of the most powerful prescription antifungal drugs known to man, which is often used intravenously to cure serious systemic fungal infections, and was found to be superior to the well-known anti-fungal drug fluconazole (popularly known as Diflucan)?
Note: As regards silver safety, the EPA reported that 90-95% of silver nano-particles are eliminated from the body within two days and 99% within a week. Also, as was posted on CureZone numerous times, the Silver Safety Committee, which includes scientists and doctors, has a simple calculator one can use at http://www.silversafety.org to determine the safe amounts of silver one can use both short and long term.
All those lying scamming doctors and scientists! Must have been the placebo effect, huh?
