Greetings!
Can somebody tell me how effective coffee enemas are? I began taking Dr Schulze's IF #1 capsules a few weeks ago & was up to 5/6 capsules a day before I added the IF #2 & activated charcoal. That's when constipation kicked in.
So, my question is, instead of re-ordering some more #1s (which don't really have much of an effect on me), shall I instead order an enema kit with saWilson's coffee, & use this daily with the IF #2 & activated charcoal? Is it ok to do daily enemas whilst in cleansing mode? Do they produce good results? I plan on doing a 30-day bowel cleanse.
Thanks for reading
Hi #14727,
Coffee retention enemas are very effective in cleansing the liver and yes they are useful during bowel cleansing.
Two 2 cup coffee enemas back to back are very desirable before, during and after cleansing. Doing this on a daily basis is what Dr. Sherry Rogers MD recommends in her book “Detoxify or die”.

Thanks Propaul,
I took a soap suds enema yesterday & a coffee enema today. I retained 2 pints for 10-15 minutes & didn't experience any cramping. Is 2 pints the standard amount or should I, instead, use just 1 pint each time (or 2 x 1 pint back-to-back)? Is it normal to feel a bit of anxiety afterwards?
Great blog by the way
Hi #14727,
As I mention in my blog, taking a one quart coffee retention enema can cause a buzz or anxiety. Reducing the quantity to two cups and laying on your left side should prevent the buzz. I find it preferable to take 2 two cup (1 pint) enemas back to back to a one quart enema. You should retain each enema for 10-15 minutes.
Doing it daily for several months did a nice job of cleansing my liver and actually my whole body. More time consuming than a liver flush but much less traumatic.
Glad you like my blog. Thanks

Hi #14727,
In my original message I said erroneously "right side" it should have been left side. Sorry fot the mistake.
