I have a hair growing under the skin. The skin in this area is relatively thick, but I can see the hair growing in the skin. The hair already a centimeter long but it has not broken the skin, is not red or painful and seems to be growing sideways.
I'm not sure what to do... wait and let it do its thing, or dig in there with a sterile needle?- Re: Hair growing under skin #80509

This is a reply to # 1,481,856This happened to me when I was younger. I can assure you that the hair will keep growing under your skin for at least an inch! What I did was take a needle and prick the skin over the hair, pull the hair up by looping it over the needle, and pulling the hair up until it is out from under the skin. That way the hair will keep growing, only over the skin instead of under it.
