I want to cry when I see a child talking on a Cell Phone . It's amazing how addicted people are to them. I see people walk out of a store, get into car, and immediately get on the phone. They can't even wait to leave the parking lot. Then they pull out of lot and cut you off since they are gabbing away. Talking on a cell while driving is illegal in NY yet 50% of cars seem to have drivers yapping away. I still say for many the Cell Phone is a mental illness. Some sort of insecurity thing where they can't stand being alone with their own thoughts for even 5 minutes. Either that or some ego thing where they think they are so friggin' interesting that people just want to chat with them all day.......... end of rant :)

Exactly why I don't own one.

Years ago when they were becoming popular, I remember telling people that it was only a matter of time before studies condemning Cell Phone s emerged. At the time there was only news on how they were safe. Looks like that's changed.

Some people can't stop blabbing though. Many times I overhear empty, stupid conversations people are having on their Cell Phone s. They'd rather get brain cancers than not be able to say a lot of nothing.

It's kind of like those toxic bathroom aerosols. Sacrificing your health just to cover up a smell. Then again, when that smell is of putrified cheeseburgers I can see why someone would want to make that trade.

Can the damage be repaired after you stop using the Cell Phone ? I used to use one years ago before I became health conscious. My ear and head near the phone would heat up if I talked to long. I got rid of mine three years ago. I can't believe the average person think Cell Phone s are safe.

And why do men and women hold a Cell Phone completely differently??? Men hold it like a hand grenade while women hold it like they are gently cradling an egg :))

I am no fan of Cell Phone s, but if people are going to have one they could at least get a head set of some kind for it to decrease the damage.

So does anyone have any recommendations on what one can do to help reduce/ eliminate the risk for those that won't give up their phones? I have many friends that live on those things and they won't give them up.

I have seen some things advertised. Does anyone have any experience or information on whether they are helpful.
