BTW is it a dull pain that seems to sit in the front of your stomach but can also move to what feels like the top of your colon? Then sometimes nothing at all?

Don't go to your doctor for drugs that are hard on your liver and kidneys.
Excessive gas is probably due to a flora/fauna imbalance in your gut.
If you can find a live pro-biotic acidophilus then take that.

Threelac is another product I've heard people talk about - sorry I don't have a web page handy.

If you can't get a live probiotic then take freeze dried - it's better than nothing.
