I wouldnt worry too much about your recent issues. My GP said the 4 month mark would be when our systems start to rebalance and I could go out of whack for a while (I did), It got better after that.

As far as what a new ob might say, I wouldnt get too discouraged about it if she just doesn't know. Jane brought this up in an e-mail, and I think it is very correct. How many of us even considered the Mirena when we got sick. How many of us listed mirena as a "drug" when we were filling out the paperwork at our various docs? How many of us thought of our OB's when we got sick and needed answers?

the reason I think so many OBs are so uninformed is that they are one of the last docs we would turn to (I never went to mine, but saw several specialists). I think they just dont know.

I would much rather that be the case than it be some massive Conspiracy :(

So sorry to hear your not feeling well. We are in the same boat though. This recovery is rough and slow. Are you still taking the Lexpro? Could that be effecting your period? Just an idea, and I'm sure something you have already thought of. I hope by the time you read this you are feeling better. I have been going through old posts and have printed out some from ladies who have recovered. I read them when I am feeling discouraged. There are some great and inspiring recovery stories. I think I searched "Mirena recovery" or "Mirena update" or "1 year post" and then I tried to only read the good ones. I find If I read too much of the bad it starts to creep in and I give myself side effects I didn't even have. Crazy how poweful our minds are.
