Hi Moreless,
I miss read the directions and thought you could add more pickling lime to the lime water.
I added 1.5 Tblsp to 1 gallon of distilled water.
Will this be okay if I use less lime water in the drink?

Answer: No problem, just shake it before use and add till you have cut most of the Acid taste in the drink!

Thanks all for your input.
Now, I just have to figure out how to give my grandma the kelp.
I tried making up some single 0 caps and it takes about 9 caps to fit 1 tsp...sigh
Also, I ordered Laminaria Digitata from botanical.com because it specifically says Laminaria Digitata, but they sent me the Ascophyllum Nodosum instead.
However, when I called, Mountain Rose Herbs, their supplier, says that their site is outdated and not maintained and they only carry the Ascophyllum.

This is a reply to # 1,475,020than you would of the standard formula. Your current batch is stronger.
I actually do the lime water differently. I use 1 T to a quart of water. So, I always calculate my use to T in the standard 1T per gallon before posting info online in order to avoid confusion.
Conversion is as follows:
1 T my lime-water = 4 T Moreless lime-water
Most I have ever used in one drink was 5 T my lime-water = 20 T Moreless lime-water.
