I usually leave the gargle to coat my throat rather than rinsing.
Figure that the longer the MOM lingers, the more benefit!!!
Last thing b4 bed, I use a bit of MOM to gargle and then swallow to coat upper digestive tract. Not a trace of heartburn since I began doing this a few months ago.
To each their own, though...depends on what one is trying to accomplish and how big a magnesium boost might be needed!!!
