(I am cross posting this to Liver Cancer cos it may be relevant)
OK I don't have much time to post this. I am doing fairly well against tmau but it is still there in the background, but definitely decreasing.
I have been taking a preparation containing Bupleurum, a chinese herb with a great reputation for regenerating the liver. I had some a few years ago as part of my successul protocol, but I was taking so many things that I didnt know exactly was working.
I have been brainstorming the last few months and trying to get the protocol back together. It's taken me ages to work it through again. Money,
Depression and lack of faith have got in the way.
Chinese preps such as "Liver Smoothing Powder" (Shu gan san) are time honoured and well proven even with western studies. herbs are ignored cos they can't be patented and big pharma makes a mint selling expensive crap.
Here are the ingredients for the prep I take.
Radix gentianae ----------56.5mg
Radix Bupleuri -----------52.5mg
Semen Plantaginis ---------26mg
Rhizoma Aliamatls -----52.5mg
Caulis Akebiae ------------26.5mg
Fruvtus Gardeniae --------26mg
Radix Rehmanniae ------52.5mg
Radix Scutellariae ------26.5mg
Radix Angelicae ------------26mg
Radix Glycyrrhiae ---------30mg
Remember this is one of many types. Lots of similar stuff out there. I am giving the ingredients away so the paranoid abusive types dont accuse me of selling a brand. Now you can find a similar prep yourself.
I can't exhaustively answer questions so I suggest people start googling themselves and we can get some info together.
I will provide some studies in a week or so but till then please help out and look yourself.
Bupleurum liver/hepatitis is a good google search. It says be careful with tmau but I don't think that's right.
Peace and Good Luck to all.
