SilverGen uses silver strips. How long do they last and is it better to use standard, easily-replaced rods? I use a 27 Volt red-to-black nine battery box and am seeking a set-and-forget generator. Any comments on the SilverGen?- Re: SilverGen uses strips... Steve888

This is a reply to # 1,461,260I think the 12ga rods last a little longer. wwww.ccsilver.com sells both types. You have to finagle them to fit unless you buy from Silvergen. No big deal though.
