ECblog
Hi everyone
Yesterday I created an Exfoliative Cheilitis Support Group on another social community and posted the link on this forum. But that post was deleted, since "Personal links are not allowed on the
Support Forums ".
My reason for creating another group is not to create another "better" forum, (or a even a forum at all) but to make exfoliative cheilitis more public, since that site probably is the biggest social community in the world for the moment. Exfoliative cheilitis is still quite an uncommon condition, and it's therefore important to get the word out in as many channels as possible.
Also it can be encouraging to see "real people" with real names, pictures and geographic location, instead of the sometimes anonymous forum profiles.
Again, I'm not trying to pump up another website. I've had EC for almost six years. I hope this post will get to stay.
Search for "exfoliative cheilitis" on that community (if you can figure out which it is) or ask me for the link.
Sincerely
David
