Search my posts if you like. I have had a lot of your symptoms. The tingling and numbness are a big one for me, adn my left side was the worst, although I will get tingling on both sides.

What does your husband's consent have to do with anything? I have personally had many of the symptoms you listed. You would be able to find all of those symptoms on this site. It IS the Mirena. I don't care what the doctors say. They don't know, because they get their info fromt the drug company who denies any of this is going on. My personal doctor called and talked to Bayer. She was told that they haven't heard of anyone else having these problems, which is a load of crap because many people on this site have written to them. They will deny it all. Please look out for yourself and get it taken out. No one else except for the people on this site can possibly understand what you are going through. Good luck. We're here when you need us!

I have had the iud in for 9 months and since then I have experienced:
major Depression ( I had to leave my job it got to be too much for me)
not able to sleep
weight gain
not able to lose weight
multiple period a month
leaking between periods
severe Acne (never had before)
numbness in my left arm going from my forearm down to my fingertips
numbness in my legs going from my thighs into my feet, sometimes causing difficulty walking
nausea all the time
blurred vision
seeing spots
slurred and mixed up speech dizziness
shortness of breath
my heart beating really fast
tiredness but not being able to sleep
cannot lose weight, even when I diet
severe mood swings and depression
severe acne

Please let me know if you had yours taking out and if the symptons have stopped.

What? They need your husband's consent to remove it? That's a load of crap. Please get it removed ASAP. If your doctor won't do it, then go somewhere else. I'm glad I read your post...It was like I could have wrote it myself! I had my paragard placed in June. About 6 weeks later I started having pain and pressure in my head behind my right ear. I thought it was an earache so I went to the dr and my ears were fine but they said maybe it was an infection behind the drum so they put me on Antibiotics . No releif so back to the dr and was put on a decongestants...maybe my sinuses. Then came the speech! Just like you described, I was saying the wrong words, stuttering, slurring, feeling really stupid because I couldn't get out simple words!! The head pain got worse, so did the speech, my legs cramped and I had the restless legs every night. Back to the dr, and at this point I was convinced I had a brain tumor!! I had bloodwork done and a cat scan and both were normal. Thats when I started searching about the IUD and found what you wrote. I was in the office the next day and had it removed. They told me the same thing that the IUD wouldn't cause my problems!! And yes it did cause weight gain. I had lost most of my baby weight and after having the IUD for only 2 months I had gained 10 pounds back. I have never weighed over 130 in my life other than being pregnant...so do not let the doctors tell you that these symptoms are not related because you know your body better than them! And thanks again for posting, I was beginning to think I was crazy! Let me know if you had it removed and if so how long before your side affect subsided.

To be Honest I would Rather have another child then to go through all that you say you're going through, & if your husband REALLY LOVE YOU he shouldn't have NOOOOO Problem with you Relieving yourself of the Pain.....‼️‼️‼️‼️🤷🏽‍♀️
