I always assumed just the opposite. EDTA will clear the gunk out of your arteries, but your liver has to filter the EDTA\gunk out of your body. So I don't think that chelating with EDTA will decrease your need for a liver flush. Instead you will have more gunk in your liver that needs to get out.

I used EDTA suppositories for about a year. I never had a shortage of stones to flush out during that time.
