Hi folks,

Luella is still in the hospital, but will hopefully be released today or tomorrow "when the doctors are happy with her breathing".  When they finally do, we pretty well know what we need to do to address her asthma and other health issues.  One of the things we need to do is get her back to the clean air of East Texas as soon as she is strong enough to make the return trip.

That may be a bit dicey, as she estimates it will take a few hundred dollars at least to make the trip and frankly we are both tapped out from my back treatments and all the supplements and related expenses for both of us.  On top of that, our dang Google Adwords money is frozen at the moment - we have not been able to either get a check or make any daily money for over a month now!

We had been letting the money kind of build up and were planning to use it and our jar of quarters, dimes and nickels  to do something outlandish like take a little trip together or perhaps purchase an inexpensive second vehicle - but then we found that if you do not verify your address with Google within a certain lenght of time, they put the account on hold and display only public service messages that earn us nothing.

So we requested them to send us a PIN number to verify the address and it never arrived - and you have to wait an additional 30 days before requesting another one, which we did last week.  They say to allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.  ARRRGGGHHH!!  We have certainly had our share of problems with those folks, but the added income , when it once again comes, is indispensible.

Anyway, I feel very uncomfortable asking for anything for either of us - it has always been about helping for us, and never about the money beyond hoping to make enough to get by (which we have been, barely).  But I now regret not paying more attention to making more than just enough to get by because something like all of this happens and it can overwhelm you in a hurry!

So, OK - I am not aksing for anything, but some folks have privately offered to help and up to now I have politely refused.  I still do not want anyone's "donations", but if anyone wants to help Luella a bit, her Paypal account is:

She would never ask anyone either, but I am sure she won't turn it down.  Once again, nothing is solicited or expected, and please - no one send any amount that puts a pinch on you, as I well know how expensive your own supplements and treatments can be (boy, do I ever know!).  Your wonderful messages of support have been more than plenty - and you will likely find out how touched Luella has been when she returns to action.  And I will probably catch some grief for posting this.
